Mr 6c Pinckney GORE, Mon. (P.A.).—The death has occurred of Mr George Pinckney, of Glenary Station, Waikaia, at the age of 85 years. I Born in England, Mr Pinckney took j fiver Glenary in 1898, the station be- j ing subsequently developed to the : third largest in New Zealand. The carrying capacity of the station: increased to 30.000 sheep. j Mr Pinckney is survived by his j wife, formerly Miss Edith Tripp, of Orari Gorge, nine of a family, 20 grandchildren, and one great grand-1 child.
