Convert Ardmore Into New College

AUCKLAND, Thur. (P.A.i—A start .will be made on Monday with converting Ardmore Air Force station, near Auckland, into a temporary teachers’ training college.

The cost of alterations would be roughly £20,000, said the chairman of the Auckland Education Board (Mr G. K. Hamilton) today. The first work by the contractors would be the conversion of huts into living quarters for the lecturing staff.

Further tenders would be called to equip the barracks as hostel accommodation for students.
