HAVANA, Wed. —The raising of the demand levels for goods in highlydeveloped countries called for equitable re-distribution of national wealth, said Mr G. H. Datson, of the New Zealand Ministry of Finance, at a meeting of the world trade conference’s committee on employment. Mr Coombs (Australia) told the committee that the chief responsibility for avoiding another world depression rested with the United States. He said the more-developed countries, particularly the United States, should take preliminary action to avoid growing unemployment. Mr Coombs warned the committee that United State economy was itself essentially unstable.
