masked youth who menaced women with a knife in Jubilee Park, Dunedin, on November 10 and 21 admitted the offences in the Children’s Court yesterday when he appeared before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M. At the request of the child welfare officer, Mr E. W. G. Thorpe, the youth, who is 16, was remanded in custody for a week so that he could be medically examined.—(P.A.)
