WANGANUI. Tn ■ Wanganyi jlistrict committee yesterday upheld the appeal of Messrs A. W. McDonald and W. G. Shannon, owners of Argumentative, against the decision of the Feilding Jockey Club’s judicial committee in -eversing the judge's placings in the Empire Handicap on November 22, when Argumentative finished a neck in front of Mercian Lad, but was relegated to second place for alleged interference and first place was awarded to Mercian‘Lad. —(P.A > * * •
