New Cupro-Nieke! Coins
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Authorisation for the issue of cupronickel coinage in New Zealand is contained in the Coinage Proclamation, 1947, published with last night's Gazette. The new coins will be of 2/G, 2/-, 1/6d and 3d denominations and the designs will be the same as those of coins at present in use.
