Mr B. Williams, president of the Baptist Union of New Zealand, is visiting Whangarei this week-end. and will be guest speaker at the Sunday morning service at the Baptist Church. Mr and Mrs and Miss Williams will stay at the Baptist Manse during their visit.

Father Cornelius Jansen, of Waitnruke, Northland, died in a private hospital in Auckland yesterday, aged 67. Father Jansen, who was a member of the Mill Hill Fathers, spent 3a years in Roman Catholic Maori mission work in the Auckland diocese.
