Plane Fogbound, Lands At Night

(P.A.) BLENHEIM, This Day. A National Airways Dakota flying on the Auckland-Psraparaumu-Christ-church run, was unable to land at Harewood yesterday afternoon because of heavy fog over the airfield, and, was diverted to Woodbourne where a night landing was made. Piloted by lV£r J. Malcolm, the plane was due to land at Harewood at 4.30 p.m„ but when it was found that the airfield was obscured, the pilot decided to put back to Woodbourne, where a flare-path was put out. The landing was made at 6 p.m. Thg plane took off for Harewood at 7.45 this morning.
