Seeks Commission On Greek Affairs
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 20. The executive committee of the World Federation of Trade Unions adopted resolutions calling for the restoration of the general Confederation of Labour in Greece and the appointment of a four-power commission to investigate conditions there, says the Moscow radio committee.
“Provided the available facts are confirmed it has been decided emphatically to protest against attempts on the life of Greek workers and trade union freedom,” and to send a protest to the Foreign Miniiters at Paris. The preparation of an appeal to workers throughout the world for support of the WFTU demand for representation in the United Nations was delegated to a sub-committee.
