To Demolish Houses

(Special) WELLINGTON, This Day. Over 50 people living in 17 houses and six shop buildings in Penrose Avenue, near Wellington Hospital, have received a month’s notice to vacate their homes. The Wellington Hospital Board, has bought the land and given notice that it intends to demolish the buildings and extend the existing lain dry. No plans have been, made to find the tenants alternative accommodation, b,f.t it was stated that nothing would be done to disturb them until the board was ready to start the work.
