Plans To Postpone Wards' Conference

A decision to postpone the proposed conference of representatives of all the wards in the Auckland province was made at a meeting of the Northland ward of the Counties Association yesterday. Jt had been proposed by the Northland ward to call the conference for the purpose of discussing unified action in regard to ihe incidence of hospital rating., and it has now been decided to leave the question in abeyance until after the meeting of the executive of the Counties’ Association to be held in Wellington on July 18. at which meeting Mr A. C. Yarborough <Hokianga> will be representing the Northland ward. On his return north from the executive meeting Mr Yarborough will call a Northland ward conference to be held before the end of July while the question of calling a conference of all wards in the Auckland province, to be held in Auckland, will be considered.
