WFTU Meets In Moscow
LONDON. June 24. A preliminary meeting of the executive of the World Federation of Trade Unions discussed the visit of the federation's delegation to Germany, the federation's relations with the United Nations, its attitude toward General Franco, and also the organisation of trade unions in colonial countries, says the Moscow radio.
A committee adopted recommendations which will be submitted to a plenary session of the executive. More than 20,000 perrons attended the Gorki open-air theatre to welcome the delegates and to hear the general secretary of the Trades Union Congress (Lord Citrine) and M. Leon Jouhaux. president of the French Trades Union Congress, deliver greetings to the workers of Moscow.
