MR. T. H. BROWN.—Mr. Tom Brown, plumber, is a 20-year resident of Kohukohu. Of that period he has spent threequarters on the Town Board. He was a member of the local school committee.
MR. R. J. FELL.—Member of another widespread Northland family, Mr. Rupert Joseph Fell was born in Kohukohu and has lived there all his life. A motor engineer by occupation he has been four years on the Town Board., He was an officer in the Hokianga Home Guard.
MR. J. IC. McAINCH. Eleven years’ store service in Okaihau and three more in Kohukohu have been piled up by Mr. J. K. McAinch. He has spent the better portion of the past term as a Town Board commissioner, and is also on the school and patriotic committees and tennis club.
MR. H. McAVINUE.—The sole new member of the already-elected board, Mr. H. McAvinue is a si ore manager in Kohukohu, and followed the same vocation in the Waikato and at Whangarei. He was an active footballer and wrestler in Wanganui and Hastings; cn school committee.
MR A. A. POTTER.—Already re-elected to the Kohukohu Town Board, Mr Arthur Augustus Potter has chaired the board for the pasi nine years and been a commissioner for nearly 20 years. District coroner and a J.P.. he has sat on (he Bay of Islands Hotel Licensing Committee for four vears. He was the first chairman of the Hokianga Inter-Zone Patriotic Committee and has been secretary for more than 20 vears of both the Hokianga Rugby Union and Kohukohu Domain Board. He is now nominating for one of the two new Hokianga seals on the Bay Power Board.
