Plane Crashes Into Bed
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON. May 22. When a plane crashed through the roof of a house in Carshalton, Surrey, early in the morning, parts Of the machine came to rest on the bed occupied by a man and his wife. The nose and engines of the plane protruded into the bedroom. The occupants suffered shock, but were uninjured. The pilot died in hospital. Several houses were damaged by the crash.
