False Pretences Charge
(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day Three charges of false pretences by failing to disclose his earnings while in receint of pension allowances for war disabilities were admitted in the Police Court to-day by a returned soldier of the Great War, whose name was suppressed. The total sum involved was £l7B. Mr. Woodward, S.M., adjourned the case pending a report from the probation officer.
