(1 p.ni.) CANBERRA, This Day. Development of the Australian ship building industry after the war will be assisted by the Federal Government. This was decided by the War Cabinet, which appointed a committee to prepare plans for the development of the industry ana to report on Australia’s present shipping position. The Minister for Post-War Reconstruction (Mr. Chifely) said he doubted the ability of the industry to carry on after the war without assistance, r ■
