German Children Study Only 18 Hours Weekly
(E.0.W.) RUGBY, March G. The Assistant-Secretary for Education (Mr R. A. Butler), contrasting education in Britain with the present situation in Germany, said that Germany recently announced that teaching there must-be reduced to 18 hours weekly to enable German school children to take part in useful war work, whereas the British school week was 27 hours.
