Use Rugby Match To Test New Apparatus
(Special) LONDON, March 7. Playing at Rugby, an Airborne Division beat the combined New Zealand and Australian Air Forces at Richmond by 8 to 6. fi The match was used as a wireless trial for a new type of self-contained transmitter. A commentary of the match was broadcast to members of the Airborne Division who were unable to attend.
