Cost Of Emergency Fire-Fighting Gear
The Whangarei Borough Council has already paid the sum of £75 for the purpose of provision of extra equipment necessary on account of provision for an emergency. This information was given to the Emergency Precautions Scheme organisation executive at its meeting last night, by the town clerk (Mr L. O, Hall).
This impressive array of stars included but a few membersr of the splendid roster lined up for Columbia’s new season’s productions as “And Now Good-bye’’, “Escape to Glory”, the “Blondie” series, “Phantom Submarine”, “The Tree of Liberty”, “Texas”,. “The First Woman Doctor”, “This Thing Called Love”, >ancl the “Ell&ry Queen” detective series.
