Auckland Coppers Into German Mine

[Special to “Northern Advocate”! AUCKLAND, This Day.

A German mine, said to be one laid by raiders off the New Zealand coastline, will be exhibited in Auckland tomorrow, in connection with an appeal for the Fighting Forces Fund. The mine has been cut in half, and the public will be invited to throw in their small change.

Auckland’s quota in the campaign is £127,000, and tomorrow’s effort will contribute towards this account.
