[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day.

Stoker-Petty-Officer Frank Stoner, previously reported missing, is now officially presumed t 6 have lost his life on war service. His wife resides at 15 Church Street, Devonport.

He was stationed in New Zealand for three years on H.M.S. Lea’nder. Gunner Robert H. Burton, reported wounded in the Western Desert, was one of the first men to enlist when war was declared. His wife lives at 28 Kildare Avenue, St. Helier's.
