Internal Affairs In Rumania Becoming Worse
(Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 2
The Belgrade correspondent of “The Times” says internal conditions' in Rumania are rapidly becoming worse. Nine prominent colonels have resigned from the army in consequence of their loyalty to the former regime. The military authorities' have requested the resignation of General Nikola Marinescu. Communist Activities
Reports from Bucharest declare that further Communist organisations have been discovered and many arrests have been made. The German News Agency announced that a special decree establishes a commissariat for the heavy and armaments industry in Rumania, aiming to safeguard the requirements of the army.
The commissariat possesses extensive rights to intervene in armament'works.
