The Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s summer meeting was concluded yesterday. Investments amounted to £43,089 10/-, compared with £39,634 10/- on the second day last year.
Concluding results: Smile Again established a world’s record for one mile in saddle, covering the distance in 2.5 3-5, and beating the previous best time of 2.6 run by Cavan Chief, another New Zealander. Results:
