Heavy Fighting In Shansi Province
NEW YORK, April 28. Heavy fighting continues in the Shansi Province, says the Chungking correspondent of the “New York Times.” The Japanese are endeavouring to sweep out the Chinese from the southern part of the province. The Chinese are attacking in SouthEast Shansi and have retaken cities along the route. The Japanese losses are reported to be very heavy.
