Oil Gusher Struck In France

(Received 2 p.m.) PARIS, April 28. Oil has been struck at St. Gaudens after boring for some months. Crude oil is gushing at a pressure of 14221 b to the square inch. 1 It contains 22 per cent, of pure petrol. Over 2000 gallons were collected in a few hours. A message from Bucharest, Rumania, states that the armed guard over oil wells has been increased. Troops are guarding the Bucharest aerodrome for the first time.
