Labour Party Split Widens
[Special to “Northern Advocate.”] WELLINGTON, This Day. It has been announced in Wellington that Mr A. H. Carman, for five years a Labour member of the Wellington Hospital Board, and for five years president of .the Tawa Flat branch of the Labour Party, and Mr S. Pupich, secretary of the Tawa Flat branch for four years, have resigned from the New Zealand Labour Party. Mr Carman, explaining the reason for his action, expressed the conviction that the party was failing to implement the policy on which it, had been elected. He also expressed opposition to the war policy of the party.
