WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL DOGS REGISTRATION* ACT 1908 It is hereby notified that the Registration Fee for the year 1940 for any dog kept by any person'in the Borough of Whangarei has been fixed at 10/-, except in the case of dogs owned by any shepherd, drover, or farmer, and used for driving sheep and cattle, where the fee has been fixed at 2/6 for each dog. . . Attention is drawn to the provisions of Section 4 of the Dogs Registration Amendment Act, 1938, to the effect that in addition to the fee payable under the principal Act for the registration of a dog, there shall be payable in respect of the supply of an approved remedy for the prevention of Hydatid Disease a fee of a prescribed amount (fixed by Regulation at.l/- for each dog registered), and until,payment of the additional fee, registration shall not be deemed to have been duly made.
