Japan's Goodwill To New Zealand

Copyright.] WELLINGTON, This Day. “The whole nation of Japan entertains the utmost goodwill towards the Dominion of New Zealand in every sense of the word,” said Mr Toyokichi Fukuma, the newly-appointed ConsulGeneral for Japan, on Saturday. He said the whole nation wanted to cement the cordial and close association which existed between this country and Japan. • “It is my honest desire to make good friends among New Zealanders during my stay in the Dominion,” said Mr Fukuma, who will visit the Governor-General (Viscount Galway) and the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) on Tuesday.
