Collapsed.— While playing golf at Chamberlain Park, Auckland, on Saturday afternoon, Mr Andrew Trimble, aged 59, married, chief warder at the Auckland prison, collapsed and died. Mr Trimble resided at 11, Clive Road, Epsom. Killed.— Fatal injuries were received by June McCausiand, aged three, when she was knocked down by a lorry in the main street of Te Puke. Both wheels passed over her. She was taken to the Tauranga Hospital, but died on the way.

Fatally Injured. —The body of Mr Patrick Cosgrove, aged about 65, was found beside the Invercargill-Lums-den main highway at Lady Barkly. near Winton, yesterday morning. The injuries he had suffered indicated that he had be<m struck by a motor car, and that death was probably instantaneous. The body was found at about 11 o’clock, and it was evident that death had occurred some time previously. Body Found. —The body of Mr Thomas Aitken Clark, aged 55, a railway coaching foreman at Invercargill, was recovered from the Estuary shortly after midday yesterday. He had been missing since Monday, when lie left home to go to work. Earley.—The Primary Industries Controller (Mr A. H. Cockayne) advises that large supplies of barley are expected to .arrive at New Plymouth about the third week in May. Further supplies are expected in Auckland about the first week in May, and about three weeks later. Farmers are advised to make every effort to secure their requirements ex wharf and to provide for their requirements for some time to come.
