Maori Relics From Far North

Possessing a good knowledge of those localities in the Far North likely to yield treasures in the .form of Maori relics, Mr E. T. Frost has been remarkably successful in his discoveries. Recently, near Cape Maria van Diemen, he found a Maori adze oi peculiar design and representing the best skill of the old Maori workers in stone. The adze is slightly curved, and has a very sharp edge. Another find was a very small carving chisel of hard black stone and a stone gouge, also used in carving. All are being sent to the Nelson Museum, which recently had a representative in the Far North.
