Matapouri
The Matapouri Women’s Institute held their annual meeting on March 20. Officers were elected as follows.— President, Mrs J. Morrison; vice-presi-dents, Mrs T. Clements and Mrs Woolley; secretary, Miss D. Clements. The April meeting was held on the 17lh, with a good attendance. Mrs Clements won the arts and crafts competition, and Miss D. Clements was seco'nd. Mrs Woolley had the best bloom from her garden. During the afternoon, arrangements were made for .a dance to raise funds for S.A. and Y.M.C.A. huts.
