N.Z. Airman Reported Missing

[Per Press Association. Copyright.] PALMERSTON N„ This Day. News that their son, Pilot-Officer Ronald Owen Lawry, 20, has been reported missing as a result of air operations on April 24 has been received by Mr and Mrs H. P. Lawry, of Palmerston North. Pilot-Officer Lawry had been participating in Royal Air Force activities over the North Sea since the outbreak of the war. He was in the aeroplane which sighted the German prison ship AHmarck as it tried to make its way down the coast of Norway, and reported the fcreseifcfc of the vessel—the aetion which led to the now famous Cossack incident.
