Pacifist Fined For Street Obstruction

[Per Press Association. Copyright ] WELLINGTON. This Day. A pacifist meeting in Swan Lane on the night of December 15. had its outcome yesterday in the fining of Archibald Charles Barrington on a charge of obstructing the lane by holding a meeting. Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., imposed a fine of £lO and costs. Barrington denied that the meeting caused an obstruction, but the magistrate said the evidence was sufficient to show otherwise.
