Pakanui Hack Handicap, of 85 sovs; one mile.— (1) Queen's Dream, 11-2, 1; (2) Mendelssohn, 9.10. 2; (3) Flying Comedy, 9.9. 3. Also started: Hunting Dawn. A long neck; two lengths. Time. 1.45 A. Matiti District Handicap, of 65sovs.; six furlongs.—(2) Te Tahinga, 8.11, 1; (1) Bold Bruce, 9.0, 2; (3) Psychic. 8.10, 3. The only other starter fell. Won by a neck. Time, 1.18.
