Fatal Fall From Transformer Pole

[Special to “Northern Advocate”) OPOTIKI, This Day.

An employee of the Bay of Plenty Power Board received fatal injuries when he fell from a transformer pole yesterday'.

The victim was: Mr James Harriman, married, with one child.

Mr Harriman was working at the time and it is thought he received a shock, causing him to fall from a considerable height to the ground.

He received a-fracture of the skull and possibly other injuries, and died in the Opotiki Hospital.
