America could exercise a decisive influence in this direction, without resort to war.

Duke And Duchess Of Kent

LONDON, July 27.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent left London by air yesterday for a holiday in Europe, before leaving in October for Australia, where the Duke is to take up his post as Governor-General. After a few days in Paris they will make about a month’s motor tour. It is understood a tentative arrangement has been mads for the Duke and Duchess to reach Yugoslavia about the middle of next month for a V'slt to the Prince Regent, Prince Paul, and Princess Olga, a sister of the Duchess.
