He expressed satisfaction at seeing such a large attendance of shareholders. as indicating considerable interest in the company’s affairs arid also its solidarity. “Now Zealand has suffered a severe season,” lie said. “Some suppliers think that under the circumstances the directors could have done more, but every company in Now Zealand has faced a similar poislion. In fact, lire majority have shown a greater decrease. than the local factory.” Grading- Maintained. The grading average shown for the season was 94,078, which was approxi-
mutely the same as for the previous season. A deferred payment of 2.',d per lb. bulterfat over the whole season’s supply. and the season’s average payout for all grades is to bo 15.74 d. Payment of 5 per cent on dry shares absorbing £.‘l2 10/- and 3t per cent on wet shares representing £144 2/7, is to be paid out later in the year. In the appropriation account the balance to distributors was £9135 8/10. During the season the number of suppliers was reduced from 296 to j 287 and in Hie current year 2.349.GG9 i lbs. of cream were received compared j with the previous year’s supply of 1 2,705,1221b5. i
