Dutch Government Defeated
LONDON, July 27.
The new Dutch Government was defeated by 55 votes to 27, the Socialists supporting the Catholics. The Prime Minister, Dr. Colijn, is expected to resign. The former Cabinet resigned on June 29 owing to the Prime Minister’s differences with the Catholic Party. Dr. Colijn, who had at first asked to be excused the task, succeeded in forming a new Cabinet on July 24.
