Spring Racing Plans Unchanged For Ajax

Mr E. L. Baillieu’s death will not cause any alteration to plans made for Ajax to rate in the coming spring. Mr A. W. Thompson said recently that Ajax would continue to race in the ownership of the executors of the late Mr Baillicu, “Mr Constable” and himself.

’Ajax looks very bright,” said Mr Thompson, “and he will probably go on racing for another season before he retires to the Widden Stud. This was Mr Baillieu’s wish,” he added. Mr Thompson said that no decision had yet been made whether Ajax would run in any of the important spring handicaps.
