Two Visiting Teams For Tomorrow’s League
Exciting games are promised by the Northland Rugby League tomorrow, when two visiting teams will be seen in action in the district. Big attraction will be the appearance at Jubilee Park of Newton seniors (Auckland), in a match with City, while at Hikurangi the home team will play their annual fixture, with Huntly (South Auckland). In an early game at headquarters, Portland will try conclusions with Kensington. The City team will be chosen from, the following players: R. Hirtzell, T. Hollows, T. Vaughan, L. Payne, V. Payne, B. Hollows, J. Banton, F. Hollows. Man-, R. Lacey. F. Sneigar, F. Bradley, J. Chatham, T. Wallbank and P. Child.
City will not have the services of D. Parkes and W. Murray, who are . still on the injured list, but the return of F. Sneigar and J. Banton, City.jun- . ior players of a season or so ago, • should make a difference, and the side anticipate providing the visitors with \ strong opposition. Proceeds from the match at Hikyrangi are to be devoted to the school--denial clinic fund. ’
