(Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. As the result of riding itwo winners at the Kensington, meeting yesterday, M. McCarten takes the lead for the jockeys’ premiership in Sydney. E. McMonamin and W. Lappin each rode one winner. The position now is: McCarten, 85 wins and two dead-beats; McMonamin, 84 wins and three dead heats; Lappin, 83 wins and four dead heats. In the final allotment two dead j heats will be taken as equal to a win.j

The Moorefield Club will present the winning jockey with a silver cup valued at 50 guineas after the last race on Saturday.
