CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday,

In the Supreme Court yesterday, Mr Justice Northcroft refused a motion for a new trial in the case in which Allan Grant, stock breeder, of Waimate, was awarded £lß2l damages against Cooper, MacDougall and Robertson, Ltd., of Manchester. His Honor entered judgment for Grant.
