Spanish Editor Purged
(Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 26. The purge carried out by General Franco following the dispute between the pro-Italian Falangists and the Military leaders has affected the Marquis Luca De Tena, owner of the “A.8.C.”, which is the nation’s most popular newspaper, according to a report, from Hendaye. The Marquis is a close friend of General Dellano. The newspaper has been taken over by the Falangists. The Seville editor of the “A.8.C.,” Senor Carratero, has been dismissed, because he published General Dellano’s criticism of the Falangists. He has been replaced by a party man.
