Dairy Cattle Bought At Kamo For Waikato
Walter Wakelin reports having held his usual weekly sale of cattle and pigs at Kamo yesterday when good entries of both classes were submitted to a large attendance of buyers. Dairy cattle, which came forward in large numbers, were keenly competed for, several trucks being bought for the Waikato district. A small entry of beef sold at improved prices, while a medium entry of pigs showed a sharp rise, wcaners selling to £1 5/. Quotations:
Medium fat cows, £5 15/; fat Jersey cows, £5; boner cows, £2 to £2 18/; potter cows, £1 to £1 10/; best dairy
