Influenza Prevalent
Influenza is rampant at Hikurangi. There is scarcely a household which has not one member of the family suffering from the complaint. Almost every shop in Hikurangi has been affected. Reports from country districts surrounding Hikurangi also indicate that ’flu is widespread, said Constable H. H. Smith, of Hikurangi.
