Good Yarding At Waiotira

Sub-contracting as a method ox overcoming the shortage of skilled labour for armament works in particular districts was mentioned by Sir Charles Craven, chairman of VickersArmstrong Ltd., at the launching, at Barrow-in-Furness, of the T class submarine Thistle. This is the third of six submarines on order with the Vickers firm, and it is the 176th submarine launched from the Barrow yard.
