Welcome Rain In N. S. W.
SYDNEY, October 26,
Considerable rain has fallen in Sydney since Monday, hampering fhe loading of vessels in port, and several New Zealand ships are affected. The Awatea will leave five hours late to night for Wellington, and the Aorangi's sailing tomorrow for Auckland has been postponed from 4 p.m. to midnight. However, the rain, which is continuing, has proved most beneficial throughout New South Wales, and a most successful cropping and pastoral season is assured.
