Prices Maintained At Sydney Wool Sales
SYDNEY, This Day.
At the wool sales, yesterday, 11,292 bales were offered and 9995 were sold, also 2068 bales privately. Competition was well sustained for all descriptions, the demand coming chiefly from the Continent and Yorkshire, with only moderate support from Japan. Prices were on a par with the day before. Greasy merino made 16£d per Jb.
