NEW OVERSEAS LETTER-POSTAGE RATES From July 26, inclusive, the ordinary postage rates on letters to countries beyond New Zealand will be:— All British Countries and Egypt (except Australia), IJd each half ounce. Australia (meantime), Id each oz. All Foreign Countries, 2Jd first oz; lid each succeeding one. For all articles except letters the existing rates are unchanged. Inland rates are unchanged. Great Britain, Ireland, Ceylon, India, Malaya, South Africa, Egypt and other Empire Countries served by the Australia-England and EnglandSouth Africa Air Routes, per “Monterey" from Auckland. Whangarei closing time, 5 p.m. Thursday, September 1. Due London, September 15.
