Shock at Wanganui

[Per Press Association Copyright.] WANGANUI, This Day. There was a prolonged earthquake shock at Wanganui at 8.32 a.m. on Saturday. The movement took the form of a sudden jolt, followed by a swinging motion. A slight earthquake tremor was recorded at the Dominion Observatory ot Kelburn at 8.33 J on Saturday morning. The observations disclosed that the shock originated about 75 miles from Wellington, in the direction of Wanganui.
